Nahji is a social enterprise that teaches financial literacy through play-based and experiential education and relevant content. Our mission is to mainstream financial literacy in the Arab world as a basic and vital life skill through programs at schools, resources at home, and knowledge for all of society.

Money is universal, which is why we work with all segments of society. Children are capable of learning and  understanding financial concepts at a young age, and learning about money early helps them take these skills on into their adulthood, regardless of their status. about the founder

How it came about

Founded in 2017 by Dina Shoman in Amman, Jordan, Nahji is the go-to resource for parents, educators, and organizations who understand the importance of giving children and youth a financial education.

Dina grew up as a fourth generation banking family with a well trusted legacy in the Arab world and internationally. Dina’s passion for children and education coupled with her banking experience, led to her purpose of creating fun ways for children and youth to get a financial education in MENA and the US.
